Mary's Meals foreign currency donation.
Thank you ever so much again for the wonderful bags of foreign currency that you collected from the generous members of Elmbridge u3a. I’m delighted to say that this has now been processed and that it raised £563.70, enough to feed more than 29 children for a whole school year, which is really amazing. You can see a breakdown of exactly what was donated below.
In addition to this, the coin sets which were donated have been taken to an auction house which doesn’t charge a commission for charities. It may take some time before these sets go to auction and longer still before we get information about how much has been raised. I will, of course, keep you posted as soon as I have any more information about how much to add to the £563.70.
