Over the top

On a cold bright day in October the Adventurers Activities 2 group scaled the roof of the O2. Wearing special shoes and a safety harness our guide led us to the walkway over the canvas roof to climb the 52 metres to the summit along a 28-degree incline.

The climb to the top was fine with an amazing 360 degree view but coming down was a bit hairy however the experience was worth the effort.

In at the deep end

Our latest outing was white water rafting at the Lee Valley White Water Centre near Waltham Cross. Built for the Olympics in 2012 it is pretty amazing and we voted it one of our most enjoyable activities apart from the water test where we had to jump into the raging torrent, be carried through a rapid and swim ashore to prove we wouldn’t panic if we fell in!
